Charity Vote goes bonkers!

It's all go here at the Arran Dog Bakery polling station!

We have been blown away by the support you have all been showing the 12 charities included in this years Arran Dog Bakery vote. As you can see, Wellesley has been struggling to keep up with counting the votes, so much so he has had to get out his abacus! I suppose he needs to earn his treats somehow!

Wellesley has been tallying each days vote, from both our website and our social media accounts, and we have to say...some of you REALLY LOVE your charities! We have been seeing votes submitted late at night and into the wee hours of the morning, like 3am and earlier...now that's dedication!!

We are planning to continue doing our charity spotlight posts each day until Sunday 11th April where the votes will be finalised.

Once the final tally is in, the votes will be converted proportionally into 100 tennis balls. e.g. if one charity gets 10% of the votes, they will then get 10 tennis balls. These tennis balls will then be placed in a pen, and our very own Wells will go into the pen and pick out the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place charities.

The reason we are doing it this way, is to give the smaller charities with fewer votes a better chance of winning the top prize.

We will do the lottery live on our Facebook page (time to be announced) however we may need to interrupt the feed should Wellesley refuse to come out of the ball pit (Tennis balls are life after all) or chase the neighbours cat...!
